We started with frustration

As two New Yorkers, laundry was always a hassle, hauling heavy bags down four flights of stairs, across busy streets, and into laundromats. The bags we used were uncomfortable, hard to load and unload, hurt our backs, and left clothes wrinkled. Needless to stay we were frustrated.

We thought there had to be a better way.

So we used a human centered design approach, interviewing users, building profiles, and testing multiple prototypes to rethink the experience from the ground up.

The result is Otis Carry, what we believe is the world’s best laundry backpack.
